Morocco

 

Morocco is an amazing country to visit with a huge variety in scenery and topography which ranges from the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean coastline, to the dry sands of the Sahara desert, to the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas Mountains.

Summit Ventures is currently planning a trip to Morocco for April 2011, which will include the Easter weekend and two South African public holidays (27th April and 1st May) – less leave to apply for! 

The 12- to 14-day tour will encompass a large number of experiences and is being designed to accommodate a wide variety of interests and tastes:

• trekking with camels into the deserts to spend a night or two among the sand-dunes;
• spending a few days in the High Atlas on one of the popular high-altitude treks;
• dining out at exotic restaurants famous for their Berber cuisine; 
• shopping in Morocco's famous colourful markets;
• visiting exquisite ancient buildings, some of which date back hundreds of years;
• experiencing Morocco's unique culture and lifestyle firsthand.   

    
Group size - 12 people. (If our numbers exceed 12, we will arrange a second tour.)

Cost - this will be determined by what we decide to do during the tour.
